Ever since Sri Lanka became Cricket World Champions in 1996, cricket has been more than just a game for Sri Lankans. The game itself is played on every available strip of land and the exploits of the national team are followed by virtually the entire population.

Sri Lanka is one of Asia’s richest treasure troves of both natural and man-made wonders with beautiful and rugged hill country and stunning beaches to be found on the south-western, southern and south-eastern coasts. To top it all off the people are friendly, the food is delicious and costs are low.
